EMI Deducted Before the Due Date
Why was my EMI deducted a day before the scheduled due date?
If you have an active Auto Debit/Auto Pay mandate, your EMI may be processed one day before the scheduled due date. The actual debit timing is determined by the banking/payment system and the mandate processing cycle.
This is a normal processing practice and does not mean that your payment was made late or attract any penalty solely because it was debited earlier.
Can I choose the exact time or date for the Auto Debit?
No. The exact date and time of the Auto Debit cannot be manually selected, as the transaction is processed based on the applicable banking and mandate-processing cycle.
